This rare and unusual bronze sculpture by Belgium artist Michel Decoux is mounted on a fabulous Art Deco 2 tiered angled marble base.
Michel Decoux (1837-1924) is known for stylized animal sculptures, particularly panthers.
There is little information regarding the artist's history however in recent years Michel's work has gained popularity.
This is a lovely example of this sculpture and is signed Decoux into the bronze cast.
